Summary: This project seeks to determine if social cognitive based teaching practices can improve engineering student’s self-efficacy and outcome expectations, with particular emphasis on women engineers. A faculty learning community was formed that implemented simple changes to teaching practices and student's self-efficacy evaluated.

Summary: The University of Missouri will work with Lunda Construction and MoDOT to develop and implement a STEM curriculum and outreach program. The program will primarily target K-12 education and provide educational modules on bridge construction (how bridges work, concrete basics, design of roadways, bridge foundations, etc.). The modules consist of a in-person presentation and optional recorded video and and activity for the students.
